| ‘CREATIONS’ (2015-2018), H2020-SEAC-2014-1 CSA, 665917. The CREATIONS coordination action aims to demonstrate innovative approaches and activities that involve teachers and students in Scientific Research through creative ways that are based on Art and focus on the development of effective links and synergies between schools and research infrastructures in order to spark young people’s interest in science and in following scientific careers. | ‘European Student Parliaments on Science2’ (2015-2016). Μετά και την επιτυχημένη διοργάνωση της δράσης το 2013-2014 κι έπειτα από θερμή υποδοχή και υποστήριξή της από την εκπαιδευτική κοινότητα από όλη τη χώρα, η Science View και το Τμήμα Φ.Π.Ψ. του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών διοργανώνει το «Εθνικό Μαθητικό Κοινοβούλιο Επιστήμης». Το Εθνικό Μαθητικό Κοινοβούλιο της Επιστήμης αποτελεί μέρος μιας πανευρωπαϊκής δράσης (European Student Parliaments on Science) στην οποία μετέχουν χώρες της Ευρώπης με συντονίστρια τη Γερμανία (Wissenschaft im Dialog). Μαθητές 15 έως 19 ετών θα μετέχουν σε πραγματικές κοινοβουλευτικές διαδικασίες, ενώ δρουν ως ερευνητές επιστημονικών θεμάτων με την αρωγή διακεκριμένων ειδικών και ακαδημαϊκών. Η κεντρική θεματική ενότητα για το 2015-2016 είναι «Το μέλλον του ανθρώπου». Σε αυτήν περιλαμβάνονται πέντε υποενότητες, από τις οποίες η κάθε σχολική ομάδα μαθητών με την καθοδήγηση ενός καθηγητή μπορεί να επιλέξει μια: Ο Ανθρώπινος Εγκέφαλος, Υγιεινή ζωή και διατροφή – αλλά με ποιόν τρόπο; Βλαστικά κύτταρα – έχουν τη λύση για όλα; Ο «ενισχυμένος» άνθρωπος: η βελτιστοποίηση του ανθρώπου, Μίμηση της φύσης. | ‘TACT’ (2013-2015) : Tracing Assessment for learning Capability in Teachers (TACT): Initial teacher education and beyond (http://tactproject.weebly.com/). The TACT study aims to investigate how student teacher candidates develop their ‘assessment literacy’ over the course of their teacher education programme and into the first one/ two years of their classroom practice as beginning teachers. The TACT project seeks to contribute to our understanding of the development of teacher assessment capability through a focus on the nature of assessment education in initial teacher education programmes and their impacts, in a number of countries (including New Zealand, Denmark, Hong Kong, Greece, Canada, Australia and the United States). The intention is learn about assessment education through the sharing and analysis of current practice and its impacts. Z. Smyrnaiou is involved as project manager of the NKUA. |
| ‘European Student Parliaments on Science’ (2013-2014). The European Student Parliaments on Science (EUSP) project aims at strenghthening the dialogue and exchange between students and scientists, introducing students to parliamentary procedures on science and research, enabling students to form a qualified opinion and to assess complex topics, and introducing students to a European community. Five students of each student parliament will have the chance to participate in the finals, which take place during the Euroscience Open Forum (ESOF) 2014 (http://esof2014.org/). ESOF is the largest conference for scientists and research organisations of all scientific disciplines in Europe. The National Student Parliament on Science is organized by Science View (http://en.scienceview.gr/news/111) and National and Kaodistrian University of Athens, Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology – Pedagogy (http://en.ppp.uoa.gr/) and will take place at: 02-04/04/2014. | ‘ERASMUS Intensive Programme’ (2014) "Jardin des Sciences en Europe" (http://europe.jardin-des-sciences.fr/) Innovative practices for teaching science in primary/secondary school. It is an Erasmus intensive programme from 7 European Universities. The intensive programme « Innovative practices for teaching science in primary/secondary school» aims at promoting science education and developing teaching practices in inquiry-based science education, supporting the development of European scientific events in primary/secondary schools, making understand the nature of science for teaching improvement (epistemology of sciences and link with the enquiry-based approach). Tαχύρρυθμο πρόγραμμα ανταλλαγής φοιτητών, δεκαπενθήμερης διάρκειας, το οποίο υλοποιείται ετησίως υπό την αιγίδα ενός κράτους-υπεύθυνου για την εν λόγω υλοποίηση. Κατά το τρέχον ακαδημαϊκό έτος το πρόγραμμα υλοποιήθηκε στο Klagenfurt της Αυστρίας με τη συμμετοχή των χωρών της Αυστρίας, του Βελγίου, του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου, της Νορβηγίας, της Λετονίας, της Φιλανδίας, της Ουγγαρίας, της Ιρλανδίας, της Δανίας και της Ελλάδας. |

| Συμμετοχή στο έργο «Περιβάλλον-Πυθαγόρας-Ενίσχυση Ερευνητικών Ομάδων στο Δημοκρίτειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θράκης» [2005-2006]. Η Ζ. Σμυρναίου συμμετείχε ως ερευνήτρια. Συνέβαλε στην ανάπτυξη εκπαιδευτικού υλικού σε ηλεκτρονική μορφή α) για εκπαιδευτικούς και β) για μαθητές. |
| Ανάλυση των λαθών των μαθητών [2003-04], ΚΕΕ. Η Ζ. Σμυρναίου είχε την ευθύνη του μαθήματος της Φυσικής Β’ Γυμνασίου ως αποσπασμένη στο Κέντρο Εκπαιδευτικής Έρευνας. |
